Is it really possible to make a key with nothing to copy?

Every car leaves the factory with a key code, and every lock can be decoded. Either route gives us the exact cuts for a new blade — the original key is convenient, not required.
After cutting, the new key is programmed to your car's immobiliser and remote system exactly as it would be with a duplicate. The result is a fully working key, not a compromise.
How do you know the right cuts without the original?
From the key code linked to your car, or by reading the lock directly.
Depending on the make and model, we obtain the manufacturer's key code or decode the door or ignition lock. Both give precise cut depths for a new blade.
This is skilled work with specialist tools — which is why it costs more than copying a key you still have, and why it is worth using a specialist rather than improvising.
What do you need from me?

Send the make, model and year, your location in Dubai, and the VIN if you can find it (usually visible through the windscreen). We need to be with the car to program the new key.

Will my old key still work afterwards?
No — disabling the missing keys is part of the job, so the old key cannot start your car.
Once the new key is programmed, we remove the missing keys from the car's memory. Even if someone finds your old key, it will not start the vehicle.
If the old key turns up later and you want it usable again, ask us — in many cases a disabled key can be re-added to the car.

Do I need the VIN?
